Just wanted to drop you a line to see how you were doing. Everything is good over this way. Monday I will be 33 weeks and they will be cutting the cerclage in 3 or weeks depending on how everything is going. Well you take care and of course..GO Steelers on Thursday!

I have been living well with Lupus for, goodness, nearly 17 years now. I was initially misdiagnosed with a rare kidney disease, falling ill with seizures and an aggressive Lupus flare. I was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis SLE. I was blessed with a prefect match kidney transplant 4/1997. After a mild flare 6/1998 I have been in remission and feeling great!
I was blessed with a perfect match kidney transplant April 18, 1997. I have Lupus Nephritis which has been in remission since June 1998.
After 6 years believing to conceive, we conceived naturally! We were diagnosed with a devastating blight ovum at about 8 weeks. After everything we have been through up to this point I chose the D&C option. Surgery was 7/17/09 so we are waiting for a normal cycle and the all clear to try again. The sadness and loss is very difficult and deep but I know I must move forward and hope again.
