I am now a freelance graphic designer as my health allows me to! I work from home and love to design! It is like a hobby to me! I have the best husband in the world. He was my rock of strength thru my fight with non hodgkins cancer. What a long, tough road! With his love and support I am now almost 2 years into remission and fighting hard to stay there! After my fight with cancer, I look at life so differently these days. I NEVER take a moment for granted or a loved one. I treasure each memory I make!

Interests
I LOVE to graphic design! I miss it alot now that I am unable to sit at my computer for very long, but I have 1 big client I work from at home, as I am able, and it makes me happy! I also love to talk and visit with all my freinds and family. They mean the world to me, but it is hard for them to relate to what I have/am going thru at times, and I understand that, and actually am glad they don't! Cancer is a hard road to travel! But there are a few things that help me thru it all and that is music and writing poems, and now talking with other people here on daily strength, that have traveled the same road, and understand what I have seen. What a great gift to us all!

Hi I had hodgkin's lymphoma and could possibly have it again. I went to my oncologist earlier this week and he said it might have came back he needs for his team and people he trusts to look at my ped scan. if so I'm going to have chemo again! I'm very scared I didn't do to well on the chemo the last time I had it I just need someone to talk to that has been through something simmler plz leave me a massege so we can talk.

It is 80 here today !!! I can't believe anyone can stay well with our weather. 80 one day and 35 the next...LOL My neighbor kid shaved his head last night. when he gets home from school we are going out to tan.. He had brain cancer last year and decided his would probably grow in better this time.

Close Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma
I was Dx'd at age 37 with NHL. It was in my left groin encasing the main blood supply vein to my leg, That caused entire leg to swell. Only sign to me that anything was wrong. Went thru chemo & fought hard! Now in remission and just completed my 2 yrs Rituxan treatment. Still have damage to my leg. so I am unable to sit or stand for periods of time. It makes adjusting to life a little difficult but I know everything happens for a reason. And I am a better person today for it.
Treatments
- Rituxan Working / Worked
- The Rituxan worked well! I am in remission!! I just completed my 2 years of Rituxan maitenance in time to start 2009 new year! Now I pray that I can stay where I am at and not relapse.
