  i had both of my legs amputated on 20 Aug of this year due to a chronic condition as well. at first the pain was even worse than what i had been enduring before, but after time and with the love and support of my family and friends i'm well on the road to recovery. good luck!!!

  i had an amputation after all avenues were exhausted, i dont regret it however i knew the odds were not in my favour but thru a team effort from the hospital they decided to do it. Pain wont die but it may alter or change, infection was my issue i had rsd from an injury in 1992 so i hear where you are coming from
