Yeah so wow, I bought a pedometer yesterday to track how much im walking. Everything I've ever read about people who have lost weight-and kept it off!, have had some sort of walking routine they did either everyday, couple times a week...etc. I really like this little thing! I walked 2.5 miles out on the trails with my boyfriend yesterday, about 5500 steps, and today at work I did another 7000 steps, about 3 miles and just now on my treadmill, another 2 miles. I kept my heart rate over 125 to burn fat ( btw 120-180 is where it should be, says the little book it came with). I feel really good about that. Not soo good about what I ate though.
2 waffles with butter and syrup
2 pieces chicken parmesaen(?) from ENCORE
Cheeseburger
small icecream cup
2 mozzarella sticks from arbys.

The thermometer says 30, time and temp says 40 and either way it's really cold outside. Im waiting here for BJ to get back from car searching for me and were gonna go walk a couple of miles at the equestrian trails. I usually go alone but this past summer a woman was shot in the back and abducted from the park, which is really sad because it's out in the country, very peaceful and some idiot comes along and ruins it's tranquility with some violent crime that left this woman paralyzed in a wheelchair. I figure, I have my pepper spray and my boyfriend is a 6"8 beast who always carries some type of knife on him so I should be good, plus the asshole's in jail. But other than walking, today should be pretty boring with me cooped up in my room later studying for college finals. As for food, I could of done better yesterday...
1 bowl of coco pebbles with 2% milk
ceasar side salad from wendy's with lots of croutons and regular caesar dressing :[
2 pieces stuffed crust pepperoni pizza with mushrooms
2 8oz. glasses of 2%
half a bag of movie theatre pour over butter popcorn.
nighttime always gets me!

I would never, never comment on anyone's food. You get gazillion points for posting. Suggestion: Baby steps in changing foods. We're used to "instant coffee" results, but one little "success guaranteed" goal a day.
Ok. It's December 2nd, 2008 and a brand new day, i'm feeling pretty good about things so why not make today a fresh start? Tomorrow morning Bj and I are going on a hike through some local equestrian trails around where we live, we've biked them a couple of times but I don't have a bike at the moment plus it's snowing and icy, so walking is just fine with me. As for food, I did...lets say, fair, yesterday.
3 packs instant oatmeal w/ 1/2 2 % milk, 2 tbsp strawberry jam.
1/2 ham sandwich with cheese and mayo (ham was gross, fed the rest to my dog haha...)
1/2 fruit snacks (shared the rest with friend)
jr. bacon cheeseburger, ketchup only
small slice of pumpkin pie, 3 tbsp whipcream
Hey, it's a start. I'll try to do a little better today.

Here in Portland it seems everyone is wearing a pedometer or giving them out for free. Good work.
