Close Multiple Myeloma
Stage: IIFound a lump on my chest in early 2008 and after a CT guided biopsy found out it was malignant they did a bone marrow biopsy which helped them diagnose me with IgG Myeloma in Feb. I've been on Revlimid/Dex/Zometa since Mar. Currently my numbers are all in the normal range.
Treatments
- Dexamethasone Working / Worked
- Just cut my dose this month in half because it was causing me to not sleep the day I take it and be very edgy the next day. I take once a week on the weekends
- Revlimid Working / Worked
- Helped tremendously. Took my IgG number down from 3655 in Mar 08 to currently 816 in Nov 08. Side effects are shakiness, tingling in hands and feet, cramps in legs
- Zometa Working / Worked
- Take this once a month. I believe its working on my bones though I still have light pains in lower back.
