      I was diagnosed with scoliosis in fifth grade, and I got my brace in sixth. I could not handle wearing it, so I had to get spinal fusion surgery in 8th grade. Now I'm dealing with the emotional issues the brace left.

      Treatments

      Brace Not Working
      I hated wearing it. It destroyed my self esteem.
      Harrington Rods Working / Worked
      Best thing that ever happened to me. I was able to start high school with no brace.
