I know there is One greater than me, and when I look to Him, He always gives me the strength to do whatever it is I need to do. It is only when I look at the problem that it gets overhelming. I read your profile. You are around the age of my oldest son. I am glad you have surrounded yourself with a good support system. The life of a CG or with a CG is no life.

Hi, I'm Gerry I am 24yrs old, I have been attending GA on and off since I was 18. I have in the past had periods of 18 months and 30 months off a bet but always eventually relapsed, I came back to GA at the beginning of September and I have been doing ok since then, I havent gambled and I am slowly regaining some of the freedom from a bet I had previously but I am struggling to start the programme again and find it difficult to talk to members about my real feelings and thoughts.
Treatments
- Gamblers Anonymous Working / Worked
- GA does work for me if I want it to, if I want to gamble then it cant help me, but if I want to remain free from a bet the GA will help me acheive this
