Greetings all... My story in 500 characters? Wish that was possible :) Four years ago my world was turned upside down. Still trying to find a new way to live in it. The reflection in my mirror is a stranger. I miss my smile, I miss my life. Every day is just another day of the same random symptoms and I'm no longer amused with the 'I wonder what body part will hurt today'. I'm so tired & I don't want to play anymore yet this game never ends. But I am stubborn so still I hope...

Treatments

Acupuncture Working / Worked

Going to try this, it worked when i herniated a disc in my neck long ago so I'm 'cautiously optimistic'

Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked

Worked somewhat but Soma worked better... both increase fatigue.

Cymbalta Not Working

Switched from Effexor, at least was able to cry again which was better than screaming on the inside & being numb on the outside.

Duragesic Patch Working / Worked

This has worked the best for pain especially in the morning since it's already in my system when I wake up but my dr doesn't like my RX plan which requires mail in 3 month supply for 'maintenence meds' and wont cover it month to month so guess I'll look forward to the lovely gift of decreased pain relief for the holidays.

Effexor Not Working

Stopped to try Cymbalta since it was supposed to help with pain.

Heat Working / Worked

Helps somewhat with back pain.

Morphine Working / Worked

Helped with pain but yucky side effects, nausea, increased fatigue, vision problems.

Neurontin Not Working

Weird very scary dizzy vertigo type side effects.

Provigil Working / Worked

The only thing thats helped with the fatigue.

Imitrex Working / Worked

The only thing that gets rid of the migraines this wonderful syndrome has graced me with.
