Man with no eyes
I found myself sick of myself again yesterday. I am one of these sick people who feels guilty for complaining, like I should be increasingly …
Well, I started out on this website when I suspected I had acromegaly. My situation has evolved since then. I was diagnosed with acromegaly and Cushing's disease in December 2008 after suffering for at least four years with endocrine issues. I had surgery to remove three pituitary tumors in January 2009. I have hypothyroidism and hypogonadism. I am also here about another brain tumor in my family, but am a lot more shy about that, and will let people know as I get to know them and as I learn more about the situation. Through all of these crisises, I have become a better support for others as well and am more than glad to do so.

Happy Easter, Happy Spring!
Hi, I SO related to your topic about showering! I dread it too- it's weird how much people do think alike- we think we are alone in how we feel but it isn't the case. Take care :)
Hope you are having a good weekend and that your spirits are good :-) Rose
How are you feeling? How are things going? Are you having benchmark moments of noticing improvements yet? I hope so. Hugs, Rose
Thinking of you and sending a little love your way, Rose
Still testing...
Dec. 08 - Stepfather DXed with brain tumor Dec. 08 - myself DXed with acromegaly and Cushing's disease from pituitary tumor
I have had thyroid issues for years. I was finally diagnosed with secondary hypothyroidism last year, then came to find that I also had nodules. I am still trying to find the right treatment for me.
I was originally diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea. Later, I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and acromegaly - both of which cause infertility. I have not had a period in well-over three years. The only thing that made it happen was the birth control pill - clearly that won't make me fertile. I am looking forward to making connections here.
