    Hi Linda ,
How are you doing? I am done with my one out of ( 6 -9) cycle. I am feeling fine. One frustrating thing about this trail is that I would not know my CA 125 before 3rd cycles.
    Warm regards
    Seema

Hi Linda, Thank you for the chicken soup. I do feel much better today although still have a lot of congestion. I feel asleep at 7:00 PM last night. I also had a horrid headache. I hope the headache is not a rebound effect from some of the drugs I'm taking. It is chilly and rainy here. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow during the ovarian cancer race. My husband and one of our daughters are doing it too. Enjoy your wedding! Much love, Janet

Hi Linda, I hope you can avoid the rain this weekend. They've been forecasting rain for Saturday all week but now they've changed the forecast to rain on today and Friday. I appear to have an old fashioned cold today. Right now I feel okay but do have a runny nose. I certainly hope it doesn't turn into a flu of some kind. Otherwise I'd say that I'm feeling quite well today. This is my first cold or any kind of sickness since I got ovca. Frustrating - but, hopefully, short lived. A wedding sounds like fun.I hope all is well there. Much love, Janet

    IUPUI (09/22/09)

Hi Linda, You are right about just when we're feeling better... I think I had an almost normal day the day before my second chemo. If my blood counts are below normal it affects how I feel and I don't quite feel good. The good news, however, is that my CA 125 is down to 23. This was the result after the first chemo. Thank you for the "push" to call and get the results. It's a relief to know it's going down. I have blood drawn again a week from tomorrow. The local ovarian cancer support group is having a walk/run this Saturday. My husband, one daughter, and I are planning to do the 3 mile walk. Hopefully it won't rain. Doing anything interesting this weekend? Much love, Janet

  • IUPUI (09/21/09)

Hi Linda, I've found through all the counseling I'm having that my way of dealing with "bad things" is to avoid them. So that's why I've not been aggressive about getting my CA 125 numbers. I start worrying thoughts such as "what if it is not good." I'll probably call them back tomorrow. I really wonder why the nurse never called me after I called last week. Actually, I'm really doing much better about anxiety issues. The therapist I'm seeing now is a PhD student in her 50s and I like what we're doing. It's forcing me to face issues - pretty helpful for me. I'm seeing her weekly and because she's a student it's free. I'm sending you candy, too; we can eat candy together. Have a great day! Much love, Janet

    Hi Linda
Thanks for the good word on Condo life. We are pretty excited about the ones that we've found, thus far. My SIL, Annie, will be doing some "scouting" for us.
How are you feeling? It's funny how my DS sisters pop into my head at different times. I think boating and you pop into my head! Sure hope things are going well for you. hugs, lindamae
