    Hi Linda,
Thank you, I think Miles is wonderful but I am bias! I work for a very large Grocery chain. I am a Deli manager, I also over see a seafood department and a Kitchens department. Coming the New Year I will also be taking up the job of being a Humman Resource manager. They are getting rid of 80% of their HR's and well the main managers will be required to do their job. Not exactly what we want at all!! We already have plenty to do. But I am very glad I didn't take the Humman Resource job like I was going to about a year ago, so I should just be thankful I still have my job! Anyways I hope your doing well, and feeling well!!!!

    Hi Linda,
Here's hoping that you are having a good day...week...and beyond. I am finally able to "talk" a bit more without biting the inside of my cheek! It was amazing, I was having so much trouble getting things across on the phone...and of course, people were saying, "can you please repeat that!" Reminded me how I never had noticed how often one bends over in a day until I threw out my lower back!
I do hope that your treatment isn't causing too much stress...is it getting cold there? We have the last of some nice days....Mac is golfing. From today on we are supposed to have many gray and rainy days. Guess it's a good time to move to Florida. Do you think that you will have the chance to visit

The sunshine is out today. So here is a little for you. I hope you are well. I am doing good other than a lingering cough. I am tolerating the Avastin and the Cytoxan well. I get blood tests every week to see if I can continue the Cytoxan. What a neccessary pain. But anything to reduce the tumor and get rid of the nafrostomy bag. How are your CA-125 numbers? How often do they test you? When did you see results? Well enjoy your sunshine and have a great day. Love and Hugs - Julie

Hi Linda, How are you doing? I'm feeling okay - just a little tired as usual. Fortunately the awful ringing in my ears has lessened considerably. I do think that my hearing has diminished along with the ringing getting more tolerable. The gal whose office is across from mine went home a little while ago with the flu. One of my sons also has the flu. He's the 5th grade teacher and is sure he got sick from his students. He doesn't live with us and has not been by because he doesn't want to infect me. I've had the seasonal vaccine but not the H1N1 because there's none around. However, I may be old enough not to get the H1N1 flu. Our weather here is absolutely beautiful. I am glad that DST is over because it has been so dark in the mornings. Of course, now it is darker at night but I think that's okay this time of year. Much love, Janet

    Hi Linda,
Wow!! 16 months!! Holly cow! You are defientely an amazing woman, I really hope there is a end soon for you. Miles and I went to a Halloween party yesterday and we had a blast. We got to carve a pumpkin and went in a huge group, there where 18 kids not counting the young teens, it was just a lot of fun. Now I am super sleepy though, I worked all weekend and that combined with keeping up with him is just wearing me out. Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend!!!

Hi Linda, I've been fairly tired this week. I think by the way I feel that my red blood cell counts are falling. They told me days 7 through 10 would be the worst and today is day 7. I could hardly wait to get home from work today (I left early) and then fell asleep right after dinner. I wrote a journal today talking about my hearing problems. It's something I never expected as part of all of this but there's no choice but to deal with it as positively as possible. Frustrating about your hair and, oddly, I've got a very few short very white spikes of hair that are about a third of an inch long sticking out here and there all over my head. My head looks like it has the sparse hairs of a cartoon character. I decided just to leave them as a head start when the rest of my hair starts to grow again. Do you have any fun things planned for the weekend? I will probably not feel too chipper until Sunday - that's the way it usually is. Normally I would be excited about Halloween being on Saturday but we aren't getting a pumpkin this year. I dare not carve a pumpkin because I still have trouble with my wrist bone popping out every now and then. All these little woes! Again, much love, Janet :)

Hi Linda, I think your in need of some chocolate. I am sure that things don't taste the way they normaly do right now. But I hope your feeling well and good enough to eat. I wish you didn't have to go through this either. I wish none of had to encounter this at all. But in the mean time I think it only makes us stronger and look at life in a much more upbeat kind of way. How do you like the gemzar? I am on that one too, I can't tell the difference between all 3 of them honestly but they said the gemzar is the one that gave me the rash. I hope you haven't gotten that side effect. Well, it is so pretty out, Miles and I are going to go jump in the pile of leaves we made! I love having a 3 year old.. I get to play!!!

Thanks for your comments on my journal. I am hoping Nick and I feel better so we can enjoy the holiday. How is your Avastin treatment going. What chemo are you doing with the Avastin. I am on a low dose Cytoxan which hasn't given me any problems so far. I don't know if I am fatiqued from it yet because I am fatigued from the cold. LOL I hope you are doing well. You mentioned that the Avastin makes you stuffy. I am pretty sure it is from the cold so I will have to wait to see if I am stuffed up from the Avastin too. Small price to pay though isn't it. I hope it works well for me. I have heard such good things about it. I hope that the tumor shrinks soon so I could get this nafrostomy bag out. Happy Halloween Week. - Julie

    Hi Linda,
Thank you. I think I like the hat look better. At work I wear the scraf, they actually got upset with me one day when I wore a hat, they very directly told me the hat was boring and the scrafs made them happy. I don't know why but it does make a huge difference with earings doesn't it? How have you been? Are3 you enjoying the fall> I love how beautiful everything looks. This is one of my favorite seasons because it takes my breath away. I hope everything is well with you. Lots of bear hugs!

Hi Linda, How are you doing today? I've been quite tired but need to get ready for the ENT doctor soon. Then I have counseling. These appointments are in opposite directions from my house so I will be driving all over. Counseling is near work so if I'm doing well I'll drop in there. I've just eaten some more so hopefully I'll have the energy to manage the day. Much love to you, Janet
