Hi Linda, I'm assuming you are at MSKCC right now and I hope all is well. I am at work "hanging in there" as I say but I am fairly tired. Basically I just want to be a couch potato; however, I'll just keep on going. I am curious about my blood counts. I'll probably find them out on Friday when I have chemo. I hope your trip home is quick and easy. I'm assuming that you are having some of the wonderful weather that's been this way. Certainly nice for November. My two year cancer anniversary is this coming Saturday. Good to have made it this far. Much love, Janet

Oh! Congratulations! I didn't know you were goning to be a Grandmother. That is wonderful. I always say that grandchildren are your reward for getting older. Chritian and Heidi are fine. Still the jealousy problems but I know he will grow out of it. The job is not working out at all. They cut me down to 3 days, which just doesn't cut it. I have to look into some other things. Do you have chemo today? Love and hugs Anita

Hi Linda! Sending you a hug. I've been ill and contagious, but I'm back! I have missed all of you? How is your daughter? Is it safe to send the book to you?

Mother started her new chemo. The oncologist told her it is the strongest dosage yet. She's had one treatment and her ankles are swelling, but she sees the doctor on Wednesday. She also got to go home on her off week. My brother came to pick her up and she was absolutely giddy. She loved seeing her sisters and several of her friends gave her a tea party! She has to return to Atlanta tomorrow but we're hoping that she will be able to come home in a few weeks for good and get her chemo at my brother's hospital. He's made all the arrangements for Mother to do so. Just waiting for her oncologist's permission. She will still see him once a month, but will have chemo every other week near her home.

I hope your treatments are going well. Have your numbers dropped again? Let me know how you are!

    Love and Hugs!

Thanks for the comment on my journal. I hope you are well. Did a lot of sleeping lately. I don't know what is making me so tired. I don't think the low dose Cytoxzn is suppose to make you fatigued like this, so maybe it is the tail end of my cold. Finally feeling pretty good now, it time for 7 pm Family night. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Love and Hugs and Prayers that you continue to do so well with the treatment. - Julie

Hi Linda, I have been falling asleep early most of this past week. Our internet has also been cutting out at home so between both of these things I haven't gotten back to you. We are continuing to have glorious weather these days. My husband and two of my sons are going to the Notre Dame football game tomorrow. They should have a great day. I know you have chemo on Monday and I hope the day goes well. My next round is next Friday. I am feeling pretty well during the day but in the evenings I am just so tired. I am very glad to have the weekend off. Here's a little love to get you through Monday. Has your CA 125 leveled off for now? I truly hope so. Love and prayers, Janet

    Hi Linda,
Thank you, I think Miles is wonderful but I am bias! I work for a very large Grocery chain. I am a Deli manager, I also over see a seafood department and a Kitchens department. Coming the New Year I will also be taking up the job of being a Humman Resource manager. They are getting rid of 80% of their HR's and well the main managers will be required to do their job. Not exactly what we want at all!! We already have plenty to do. But I am very glad I didn't take the Humman Resource job like I was going to about a year ago, so I should just be thankful I still have my job! Anyways I hope your doing well, and feeling well!!!!

    Hi Linda,
Here's hoping that you are having a good day...week...and beyond. I am finally able to "talk" a bit more without biting the inside of my cheek! It was amazing, I was having so much trouble getting things across on the phone...and of course, people were saying, "can you please repeat that!" Reminded me how I never had noticed how often one bends over in a day until I threw out my lower back!
I do hope that your treatment isn't causing too much stress...is it getting cold there? We have the last of some nice days....Mac is golfing. From today on we are supposed to have many gray and rainy days. Guess it's a good time to move to Florida. Do you think that you will have the chance to visit

The sunshine is out today. So here is a little for you. I hope you are well. I am doing good other than a lingering cough. I am tolerating the Avastin and the Cytoxan well. I get blood tests every week to see if I can continue the Cytoxan. What a neccessary pain. But anything to reduce the tumor and get rid of the nafrostomy bag. How are your CA-125 numbers? How often do they test you? When did you see results? Well enjoy your sunshine and have a great day. Love and Hugs - Julie

Hi Linda, How are you doing? I'm feeling okay - just a little tired as usual. Fortunately the awful ringing in my ears has lessened considerably. I do think that my hearing has diminished along with the ringing getting more tolerable. The gal whose office is across from mine went home a little while ago with the flu. One of my sons also has the flu. He's the 5th grade teacher and is sure he got sick from his students. He doesn't live with us and has not been by because he doesn't want to infect me. I've had the seasonal vaccine but not the H1N1 because there's none around. However, I may be old enough not to get the H1N1 flu. Our weather here is absolutely beautiful. I am glad that DST is over because it has been so dark in the mornings. Of course, now it is darker at night but I think that's okay this time of year. Much love, Janet

    Hi Linda,
Wow!! 16 months!! Holly cow! You are defientely an amazing woman, I really hope there is a end soon for you. Miles and I went to a Halloween party yesterday and we had a blast. We got to carve a pumpkin and went in a huge group, there where 18 kids not counting the young teens, it was just a lot of fun. Now I am super sleepy though, I worked all weekend and that combined with keeping up with him is just wearing me out. Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend!!!
