Hi.. I've just noticed that you have been hanging around here since November and joined the ovarian cancer group today... which is how I found you. I imagine things might have moved on for you since you wrote.. but I appreciate it's a scary place to be. I read up on Adenomyosis in Wickepedia and it said that there wasn't an increased risk of cancer with this condition.. but the CA125 would be a worry for you. It isn't a reliable diagnostic test for OC, as it can be elevated for a lot of reasons and doesn't register at all in some women. It is only useful in assessing the effects of treatment in some women. What does your doctor suggest as the best way forward? Even if a tumour was seen using a scan, which it wasn't in your case, then it would still take a biopsy to show whether it was cancerous. In the vast majority of cases these things turn out not to be cancer.. Ovarian cancer is extremely rare especially in someone of your age. You have every hope here that this is not cancer, though it must be a worry for you. This is a great place to get support when facing these sort of things.. the women here are wonderful.. Please let us know how things progress and we will be here for you.. Wishing you all the best and that this turns out well for you.. Inka
