Close Cystic Fibrosis

As a baby, my parents had no idea I wasnt healthy. A month after birth, my stomache was enlarged, but I was very skinny, and cried if moved. I went to the hospital, and they didnt know what was wrong. After many complications with my veins mostly, they figured put what was wrong. My intestines were twisted, so they had to take out 1/4 of my small intestine. When I was little, my main problem was my nutrition, but now its my lungs. I didnt have to go for a tune up till a few weeks ago.

ADEKs Multivitamin Too Soon to Tell

I was recently told I was low on those vitamins, so they told us to get these. I'm sure they are helping. Haven't been tested since I was told this, and that was a few weeks ago in the hospital,

Chest Percussion Working / Worked

I think this is the most efficient and helpful way to do airway clearance, although I usually don't do this because I don't have time. But it always makes me cough something up if done right. I did it when I was little, and when I was in the hospital.

Cipro Working / Worked

Ok, I am glad that someone finally listened to me after like 8 or 9 nine years. I always said nothing helps, and I cant cough anything up. My parents and my doctors thought I was just being a kid who makes excuses not to do therapy. My doctor finally asked me about this med only a few months ago. It works wonders! My mucus is exceptionally too thick and its impossible to cough up anything without this. So parents, next time your child tells you something doesn't work, take it into consideration.

Pancrelipase Working / Worked

These work very well. I am currently and always have been on the ultrase. I take mt20s and I always take 4 when I eat, because I usually eat a lot.

Pari PEP Not Working

This never worked for me. It doesn't make me cough up anything. I used this when I was younger.

ThAIRapy Vest Somewhat Helpful

I guess this worked, bu it didn't really make me cough up stuff. In fact it was hard to breath with, and if it wasn't hard enough it had no effect. It it was hard enough, it bruised me ribs. So I didn't like it.

TOBI Working / Worked

I think this has helped when I got pseudomonous. Which I have gotten a lot. Its a pain to do though.

Vancomycin Working / Worked

Ok, this I think is very helpful. I used it in the hospital with iv. I had some pretty bad lung infections. The problem with this is that I had an allergic reaction to it. I broke out in a painfully itchy rash everywhere. Starting with my head. I had to be put on benedryl, which helped. Its very hard on your veins though, but it works.

Close Teen Sexuality

I first started having sex when I was 14. I know kind of young. But I dont really regret it. I did it with someone I love, and i continue to do so.
