I found out that I was positive during a routine check during my second pregnancy. Both my children and my husband are negative. It was determined that I probably recieved the virus in the early 90's after my son was born and before I met my second husband. I was involved in a serious accident which I got a transfusion.
Treatments
- Combivir Working / Worked
- Gave me severe headaches and made me sick. No longer on it.
- Epivir Working / Worked
- Do not remember. I beleive this was the one my daughter had to take for a while after she was born.
- Reyataz Working / Worked
- Currently doing great on this one. Maintaining low Viral Load and High CD4.
- Talking Working / Worked
- I usually cry and still feel bad.
- Trizivir Working / Worked
- Never felt good when I was on it.
- Truvada Working / Worked
- Currently doing great on this one. Maintaining low Viral Load and High CD4.
