I had always just struggled the months that the stbx got his vacation check and no support was "taken out". Well today I found out there is something we can do about it.
I found out that although the stbx support payments are garnished it is still "his" responsibility to send in support payments for vacation checks! He has enough seniority where he is getting 3 paid vacations a year and that is three months we go without money. He has laughed at me in the past over this issue.
He will not be laughing in 7 days! He is already 11,000 behind in support but these vacation checks he has been purposely withholding is about to crash on his own head!

I didn't want the stbx to go to jail but if he is willing to starve his family then so be it.
I used to feel sorry for him but not anymore. It is my children that I feel sorry for. I'm giving myself a 20 for today because it took major backbone to say yes I want to proceed!
