I’m With You
I was thinking about when I was first diagnosed. It was a tough year but things settle down in your mind a bit after a while. I haven't seen the Nephrologist since (2 years ago). He said to come back when my function falls below 50, so I'm on my own for now. It helps to know all these other people are out there in the same position, though.

Close Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
I was jus diagnosed 2 days ago. My Dad was diagnosed 10 years ago, my brother 2 years ago. I don't think it has really sunk in. I have 2 young boys and so worried that they may end up with it too.
