Ray of Sunshine
I am delighted to hear your neck feeling better. I'm a sun lover as well - which is a bit hard to take on the wet dark days of winter on the west coast of Canada. Yet i'm feeling so rejuvenated these days - thanks to remarkable natural products. I can't believe it some days - feeling better and better and better. Wishing you warm soothing rejuvenating forces around you. Take care.
Hug
I hope your neck is a bit better. I am grateful and amazed everyday at how much better i am beginning to feel. I would love to share my path and story with you.
Hug
There is a path through this. I will be glad to offer any support i can.

Close Ankylosing Spondylitis
I was diagnosed in 2005, at the age of 28, I also have ehlers-danlos, sciatica, and a bone scan has confirmed osteoporosis in my hips and wrists.
Treatments
- Pain Management Clinic Somewhat Helpful
- For the treatment of the pain coming from a number of ailments, I am taking an anti-inflammatory and take a mild muscle relaxer and tylenol 3 as needed.
Close Sciatica
I have been diagnosed with AS and EDS, and have Osteoporosis in my hips, and my sciatica flares up occasionally. I am typically in some level of discomfort or pain 24/7
Treatments
- Stretching Somewhat Helpful
- I have AS and EDS which makes over stretching easy, but its really painful not to.
Open Hemorrhoids
I am prone to anal fissures and also suffer from constipation due to the anti-inflammatory meds I take for arthritis.
Treatments
- Anusol Working / Worked
- I tried anusol with moderate success, I find that proctofoam is more effective for me, but it is SO expensive ($60 copay).
Open Arthritis
I was diagnosed with Reactive Arthritis in 2005 at the age of 28. I had been dealing with joint and muscle pain issues since a very bad case of tonsilitis and strep throat hit me all at once in 2000.
Treatments
- Pain Management Clinic Working / Worked
- I see Dr. Hampar at the Pain Institute of Nevada, he is awesome. I take anti-inflammatories daily, along with a mild muscle relaxer and pain killer as needed to manage my pain level.
- Tylenol Working / Worked
- I take Tylenol 3 (5/500 and 7.5/500) as needed and I am fortunate to not have any side-effects from it.
Open Osteoporosis
I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in my hips and wrists, as well as a general thinning of my bones in 2005 at the age of 28.
Treatments
- Calcium Working / Worked
- I can only take calcium and vitamin D, because I am of child-bearing age, and plan to have a family within the next couple years.
Open Degenerative Disc Disease
I have 3 herniated discs, 2 in my lumbat and one in my neck. My mother also has DDD, with dry discs and chronic severe pain.
Open Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
I was diagnosed with EDS in 2005 at the age of 28, along with AS, Reactive Arthritis, Osteoporosis, and DDD. My symptoms are fairly mild and include hyper-flexibility and easy bruising and slow to heal wounds.
Open Hypermobile Syndrome
Hypermobility is the primary symptom of my EDS. I "click" at almost every movement, whether I want to or not.
Open Sexually Transmitted Diseases - Female
Type: Genital HerpesDiagnosed as a teenager with HSV type 1 and 2 (oral and genital), due to careless sexual activity. I have since made the most of it, signed up with www.positivesingles.com and met the man of my dreams, we are getting married next year.
Treatments
- Valtrex Working / Worked
- in 1000mg (or 1g) daily doses I only have 1 or 2 outbreaks a year. I love VALTREX! Just don't take it on an empty stomach, makes me dizzy.
