They are my rock for they are the ones I can truly count on being there when I am in need. Also, true friends are a blessing that are rare and hard to find so, if you have one, hold on to them and also be that true friend in return. Thank you so much! I felt the prayers and thoughts at Christmas! There is a precious little boy that takes my trash out for me and checks on me. He brought me a card that said "thanks for being such a warm hearted lary. you really help me out. Thanks and I am glad God put you on earth for me, you are my angel." God has angels everywhere. Thank you sweet friend for your encouragement! Your family is blessed to have someone like you. Happy new year!!!!!

I cannot tell you how much your note and prayer meant to me. I am truly not alone. I KNOW how hard it is to see those we love upset because we are sick. I spend so much time trying to convince them that i am ok. but here we do not have to be strong and pretend all is ok.. i am so thankful that we have each other on this site. Bless you and all my other email angels!!!! sl

Close MRSA
Had back surgery at the L3-4 region.Got MRSA and had to have the incision opened and drained twice.8 total weeks of IV Vancomycin at home and tons of other meds.after IV Vanco I had an addittional 2 months of by mouth antibiotics.This was in April 08,now Dec 08,Bad pain lower back and left leg. Dr wants to do a trial spinal cord stimulator for pain control.The trial don't worry me but the permanant unit leads go in the column I'm afraid of getting MRSA again especially inside the spinal column!
Treatments
- Hibiclens Working / Worked
- I use this now everyday. I will not take any chances from now on. It would be very depressing for me to go through MRSA treatment again. I encourage all my friends and co-workers to keep all wounds, even the smallest paper cut or splinter very clean always and to use the Hibiclens also.
- Vancomycin Working / Worked
- Pic-Line in arm was very annoying. Vancomycin made my lips tingle, very bad sweating. Just an aweful situation all together. I stayed sick the entire time with fever, chills and vomitting
- Washing Working / Worked
- I feel as if I now have a disorder because I find myself washing and cleaning my hands and my face, nose, you name it, all the darn time. It's just not normal and I feel like a freak. I wash my hands so much that at times my fingers are sore.
