About Me
I was diagnosed one year ago with ovarian cancer. I have had the surgery, chemo and now on the road to recovery. I am married to a wonderful husband, who took off work for six months to take care of me. I have two sons with wifes and five grandchildren. I love the outdoors and play golf every chance I can. We travel all the time and have a second home we love to spend time at..I have a strong belief in God and know that I get all my strenght through him.....

Close Ovarian Cancer
I was diagnosed one year ago. I had surgery and then started IV and IP chemo treatment. I am now in remission and feeling stronger every day.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- I had two ports, one IV and one in my stomarch (IP) I had six cycles of 21 days. One day IV, second day IP and then 8th day IV again. I was then off for 13 days. During that time I was usually very sick 10 of those days. But then the rest of the days I was strong and back to feeling like myself. I excercised and ate good. I was on Taxol and Cisplatin
