Iwas hep c positive for many years tried interferon, interferon with ribaveron and other treaments for about 5 different times, 6 months to 1 year at a time, no go I devolped cirrosis and went throught the stages with all the complications I was told that if i did not get a transplant in about 60 days or so ,i would not make I had a meld score of 30 something. I recieved a transplant and after 3 months the hep c returned went back on the therapy. virus free now
