Dealing with depression and not fully mitigated Bells Palsy. Depression came to a head when I turned 50. Had to get better or die. Thankfully I used the hotline from work and got to see a therapist pretty quickly. Am on meds which have evened things out and have been happy but it rears its head every now and again. The Bells Palsy is a bitch. I am one of very few that after a year still have deificiencies left to deal with. Nothing major, just annoying.At least the salty taste finallt went away. Docs say this is as good as it gets. Well at least it wasn't a stroke. Had open heart surgery 5 years ago. Damn near died. Got a seconday infection and had to be rushed back to the hospital. Took 3 days before they found an antibiotic that worked. Thought sure I was gone as I could feel myslef slipping away. oh yeah, I have the nerve in the lower back problem and COPD, cause undetermined.
