I'm a 41 year old mother of three daughters, ages 19, 16 and 12. I remarried in Dec. 2007 to a wonderful man. I work as a software tester. DH has never been married or had children. So he's crazy to live with all these women (especially teenagers). I am very lucky to have him in my life. We lost our second pregnancy in February and have decided to keep trying at least once more time. Trusting God to give us His will, in His time. It's hard, but the only way.

My passions aside from my husband and girls are reading, writing, music and cooking. I also enjoy horses, target shooting and camping. We are a Christian family and trust in the Lord day by day.

You are making the right decision! I think that you are very brave and that things will go just fine wih the new doc. Who knows? Maybe you will like and trust the new doc even more than your present md? let us all know when you finally meet him or her!

Close Trying To Conceive
I am 40 years old (nearly 41) and have been married for 11 months to my second hubby. He's 32 and has never married or had kids before. I have three daughters from my first marriage, ages 18, 15 and 11. We have been TTC since March. Had a M/C (Chemical pregnancy) in June. I am impatient, but am humbled by the faith and perserverance of so many in this group. For now, the only "treatment" we are doing is a lot of prayer.

Open Miscarriage
I found out yesterday that my baby had died in the womb. Just stopped developing. I am waiting to go to the doctor and see what is next. I had a previous miscarriage in June, and we were so hoping this one would take. I have three beautiful daughters from my first marriage, and had no pregnancy issues with them. But I was a lot younger then. I'm 41 now and remarried to a wonderful man. I want to give him a child, but sadly this may not be possible.
Open ADHD / ADD
My nearly 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD 4 years ago. We struggle with school, sleeping and eating issues.
