I'm married for 20 years and have 2 great kids...girl 16 and boy 12. I was diagnosed with Crohns in June 2000. Looking back, I've been having symptoms since about 1994 but never really got it looked into until it got really bad. Now I just take it a day at a time and enjoy the good times as they come.

Love music, the outdoors, and travel, but don't as much as I'd like because of the Crohns.

Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- Have been taking since 2005. Makes me a bit tired within an hour of taking. Nauseous as well...but does seem to keep the symptoms controlled
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- no red meat...bummer avoid ruffage,lactose issues too...take lactaid or avoid dairy
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Run or walk at least 3 times a week...and crunches for the belly, find it helps me go better.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- You know....the usual complaints but it worked for me when I've needed it.
- Probiotics Working / Worked
- I'm a beleiver!! Activia and I take in pill form too
