65 year old,still working professional, married with one 32 year old son who lives in the States. I love everything nice hate politics and hypocracy.Current health ,I had a kidney removed last November and now have advanced renal cancer in both lungs.I'm on my third cycle of sutent.

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
I was unlucky, I contracted cancer as a direct result of a medication for severe Arthritis, I had a nephrectomy last November 07 and although told after my op I was cancer free, I wasn't and I now have advanced RCC in my lungs and bronchia. Currently on sutent 3rd cycle which is or maybe doing its best, 64 year old male with 64 more to go I hope.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Working / Worked
- Op went well I was out in 4 days, still very numb on my stomach but my other kidney is working very well.
- Sutent Working / Worked
- 3rd Cycle and I'm told I am lucky not only has the cancers stopped growing they have shrunk a little. Side effects are bearable, a little uncomfortable in the mouth and an oversensativity to hot and cold drinks etc and loss of taste.
