stay at home mom with 2 boys last time i held a job was 16yrs ago. I was in the Canadian Air Force. Not quite ex is in tghe Canadian Navy. Kids are 15 and 11. I am an army brat myself. Most of my family lives on the east coast and I am currently on the west coast.

Close Breakups & Divorce
Had some problems for about 12 months. No fighting or yelling or anything like that. Then on Dec 23 of 06 he tells us he is leaving. That day.I was so shocked all I could think to do was ask for a house key. Since then we have settled the custody and support issues. We are stuck there now.

Close Military Families
I was an Army brat for my first 14 years of life. I joined the Airforce and served 11yrs my self. I married a sailor. Having said all that I should tell you I am Canadian. So while my experinces may not be exactly like yours I do know of what you speak.
