Close Cervical Cancer
I am a twenty three year old woman. My doctor found moderate dysplasia about six months ago that he decided to monitor. The hope was that it would just "cure itself." Because I am young, they are being careful with how they treat my cervix and have decided to be patient with the precancerous cells. Since then, a follow up pap showed it is still there and I had a repeat colposcopy and cervical biopses. I am currently waiting for the results that will determine if I will need surgery.
