  Hi there- that's a bit of a drive to Perth but nice empty roads - until the city at any rate. Wish I was there! Think I am allergic to NZ. Arrived back last weekend and within 24 hours much pain. Almost unusable right hand so pecking the keyboard. Seeing rheumy tomorrow but not optimistic. Had minus 6 degrees temp in Iceland plus biting winds in north - we could barely walk to restaurant one night - but no flares!! Still summer on its way here... Meant to say how much I like your photos. I am not at all computer competent and dont know how to put photos on this site. Your farm ones are glorious.

  "Gaterspunk"! I LOVE IT! (Um your new name for a drink - NOT "Gaterspunk" itself .... well, not that I ever tried it, I mean that I ever would TRY it ,,, oh ewww, never mind!). Very funny!

  Hi! I haven't been on line too much lately, but check this website fairly often and didn't see too many postings from you. I hope things are going ok for your parents. That is a very difficult situation to deal with, especially when distance is a factor. I hope your RA is at least manageable for you now. I've been doing fairly well. Take care!

  Wouldn't you know I took down a giant black walnut tree branch that the wind brought down a couple weeks back and pulled something in it again??? Just today, so we will see what tomorrow and the next days bring .... Too busy for mischief, darn it! Uh oh' I hope it's good, exciting distractions!!! Take care!

  Interesting, I'll have to see. OMG, chiro on a horse!? Kind of funny, but not really, we had a lady at work who told me she "handled" horses for a breeder. What could I say!?!?!? I'm like "Oh.........interesting........I gotta go now."

  Thanks for the vote of confidence! No, I'm just one of those people who takes pictures of 'things' - dogs, people, places. No art there. But thanks for your kind comments just the same. Oh, taking school pics would be horrible. My adopted (she adopted me) daughter;s boy friend did that too, and he said the same thing. "Not worth it." Speaking of, M. had hers yesterday and we didn't know (or forgot) ... oh well ........... The wrist is thawing out with the help of my favorite friend, prednisone. It still falls asleep and is somewhat stiff, but nothing like yesterday. I see my Chiro on Friday and my RD on Wednesday. I should just have them all LIVE with me! How's about you??

  So sorry you are in a flare and admire you for not going to bed and sulking like I do when I get a bad one. Empathise with the 'yunkie-give-me-more' feeling. Just hope you get through it quickly. I am still away - Edinburgh with an old friend I travelled Trans-Siberian with years ago after a year as VSO volunteer in China when it first opened up - and we are off to Iceland today. Am expecting big time flare with the cold but place I've always wanted to see. Back NZ in a couple of weeks where they have just had biggest snowfall for 25yrs. You've probably had mention on your media as we get all your news. Hug. Hope you are feeling better soon.
