Close Hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in October 2008 after a long difficult road of blood tests, MRIs and emergency room trips! I had numbness and tingeling in all of my extremeties, fatigue, excezma, panic attacks, dizziness and all around just feeling bad. I had a doctor who didn't believe me. I learned from all of this that you have to be an advocate for yourself. You know your body better than anyone else and that Doctors are just people and can make mistakes too.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- After about a month of treatment I am feeling like a new girl. I am still having some problems that I hope will be resolved once myt levels are adjusted. The other day I had heart palpitations. They are veryu scary but, seem to have subsided when I lowered my coffee intake. I tried to cut off the coffee completely but, unfourtunatly I am an addict, as I got the worst headache of my entire life just skipping coffee foe one day :(
