its bad when you are on a first name basis with a lot of the people at the Health Center...
What is even worse is when you are recognized instantly by nurses and professors that have only been in contact with you once or twice in their lives...
I wonder what is going to happen with school this semester. I dunno..... I am glad I took online classes because of the heat... however the visual contact with professors and TA's is sorely lacking...
My psych instructor has royally screwed me. Webct has automatic timers on the program. I was not going to take an exam durring the worst dizzy spell of my life. I emailed her and asked her about accomodations for this class.
Essentially she claims to be tested for MS in the past and has a b12 deficiency. Its like she thinks its no big deal.
Hello! You cannot even begin to even think about being intelligent when you are having severe dizzy spells! Hell you can barely see the computer half the time! Why else would a graduate student be taking an undergraduate class! I wanted the flexibility to do class when I wanted to or was able to, and the ability to go to class in my underwear!
Now obviously the underwear thing was only half serious... But for real my legs burn so badly that I cannot even wear jogging pants without feeling hot and like my legs are on fire in my frozen tundra of an apartment!
The other TA has been cool about the whole thing. I told her about the hospital thing and she is willing to let me turn in things late and basically take the tests whenever I want.
Can I go to class in my underwear now!
