Hi Tabi, welcome to DS. I read your post about your husband and his migrains, my friend used to have migrains everyday and I read in a medical report about CLUSTER headaches which is a form of migrains and it said that when poeple take over the counter pain meds like excedrine, tylenol, etc, EVERYDAY that it starts to react in the opposite way and instead of getting rid of them you start to have more. I wish I had the article to send you but it's been a couple of years since I read it, anyway I told my friend about it and she went off the excedrine and the tylenol for about a week and her headaches stopped, her mother also suffered from this, she did it and it worked for her too. I don't know your husbands history and you should always check with your Dr. before doing anything but it's worth a try. If he decides to try it let me know if it helps him. Good luck and take care.

Close Migraine Headaches
My husband is 40. Has had migraines for 17 years. Has a headache EVERY day of his life with migraines 3-4 times a week. Sometimes lasting 3 days! He has tried EVERY medication made. Had every neurological exam, MRI cat-scans etc. He has been told there is no help for his extreme case. We have tried every diet, removing foods, drinks.. Acupuncture, massage nothing helps. He is now severly depressed. Has ANYONE had a problem this severe? Can you get disability? Any help/suggetions welcome.
