I think you should try the Remicade or Humira. I think it reaches a certain point that trying anything is better than being sick,

I am a Crohn's Patient diagnosed in 2006.
Treatments
- Asacol Somewhat Helpful
- I am taking Pentasa and I hate taking so many pills on a daily basis. (1000mg 4x daily) No side affects.
- Entocort Too Soon to Tell
- I take 1st thing in the a.m. (9mg 1x daily)
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I was on Prednisone right after being diagnosed and had a 2ft. resection. It worked but I broke out like a 15 year old kid working at McDonalds. I also retained water. My ankles turned into cankles, and my face blew up like a balloon.
- Purinethol Working / Worked
- I take Mercaptopurine before bed (75mg 1x daily) No side affects.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- gave me 2 years of remission. I did develop a bad hematoma the size of a baseball where the doctors stitched me up.
