I was diagnosed with RA last December. I have had symptoms for probably three years brfore I was diagnosed. My family doctor told me it was all in my head. I saw a few other GP and they all said the same thing. I thought I was crazy and i lived with the pain. Then I started having horrible back pain so that I could not walk. When my family doctor did nothing I was so angry that I switched family doctors. My new doctor ran some blood tests and I was finnaly diagnosed with RA.
I don't know if I really have a story. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and then rheumatoid arthritis. Both really really suck and I am here to find support.
I have had really bad back pain on and off for about a year now. For the longest time no doctor would believe me that I was in so much pain. They thought I was just after drugs. After about six months they finally did an MRI and found out I had a bad disc problem. Basically nothing has really worked. I have just learned to live with pretty bad pain every day all day. It does not help that I also have RA which also has me in pretty severe pain.
