I'm very sad
I am back from Minnesota. My dear dear Mother passed away very peacefully with my sisters and I all at her side. I am very sad.
I'm an active 50 yo woman. My work is with computers in the healthcare industry. My passion is fitness and food. I love to cook using locally grown produce and healthy as much possible. I am also into fitness and trying to keep my body in good shape. My dream would be to combine my fitness and food knowledge and become a life coach for others (specializing in the over 50 crowd). Someday I will get there.

I am a 50 yo woman with a dx of IBS. I mostly try to watch what I eat and stay away from my known "trigger" foods. I also take digestive enzymes before eating and that has helped me a lot.
I'm a birthmom. My 32 yo daughter and I have been reuinited since 1998
I lost 38 lbs a number of years ago through Weight Watchers then over time gained back about 13 lbs so I tried Body for Life and have lost 28 lbs and am pretty stabile at the weight I want to be. I still have to work at it some but 9 weeks ago I started a gluten free diet (I also have some other diet restrictions). I am very interested in nutrition and exercise.
I work out pretty regularly. I try to do strength training at least twice a week and cardio 4 or 5 days a week. I enjoy running and spinning and am a certified Spinning instructor.
A very good friend just diagnosed with Lymphoma. I have a number of friends and some family who have/had blood cancers. I have participated in a number of events for Team in Training, raising money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
