hi, my name is lisa, and i surrendered my 3 kids to cps in 2004. I finally got diagnossed there after. I got real with everyone that new, it took awhile for them to accept it. I have been in treatment for 4-5 years now, and kids live with other family members. Things are good for now.

I am sorry that you lost your kids. But the fact that you are happy with the way that things are is a great testament to what kind of a person you are. Its a challenge before you find out and then its like a big light bulb goes off in your head, OMG, so thats why. But great that you are in treatment and now on this board. We are a bunch of crazy people but its fun,

I am glad that you are taking the correct steps to get better. A lot of people go the oppisite way. I am proud of you!
