First of all my name is Michelle and I live in WV. I am currently engaged. I have been with my fiance for 9 years now. I was first diagnosed with TTP (which was caused by my ADAMTS13 being out of control) on March 8, 2002 and was diagnosed with PCOS 10 years ago. We have been trying to get pregnant for a long time now and haven't had any success.

Hi there I ran across your profile and read your last journal entry and I wanted to give you some hope and motivation I can tell you for sure that losing weight not necessaily low Gi does work for the PCOS like you I had irregular to nonexexistant cycles as well and couldnt get one w/o meds Well I started losing weight I started at 310 lbs threeh years ago and now Im 225 and I have regular cycles like clockwork for the past 9 months without meds so it does work I know how hard it is but you can do it !!!!!

i wish you the best and just wanted to give you a hug. im ttc also but pcos makes it sooo difficult. my guy needs to go for a sperm check before my doctor will give me clomid and i feel bad he has to go through with this also. if u ever need to vent im here for support. :)

Close Thrombocytopenic Purpura
I was sick late Feb 2002 and I was taken to the ER and my platelets were in the 900s. Well I was in ICU for a while and in the hospital for a total of 21 days. Then in July 2007, I had relapsed but done good for 5 yrs. Again relapsed in Jan and Feb 2008, but had the Rituximab treatments when counts got up to normal and been in remission for 8 months since the last treatment (March 5, 2008).
Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I never started my period on my own until I saw my gyn at age 18 when he started me on Provera to induce period and birth control pills. I hardly to never have a period on my own. I will be going see a Reproductive Endocrinologist soon.
Treatments
Open Infertility
I have been TTC for a long time but recently started taking Clomid on days 5-9. I've got to use Provera to induce AF. I've got PCOS and don't ovulate.
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Too Soon to Tell
- First cycle using the thermometer.
- Clomid Not Working
- I am resistent to Clomid since I told my dr about my vision changes. Not going to use it again.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Well it also helps with red blood cell formation.
