    • About Me

Management consultant, formerly high technology and software executive. I am married, live on Puget Sound with my husband and two Golden retrievers and two rescue kitties. Educational background are degrees in Chemistry, molecular biology and computer science. Had a sudden ruptured disk last summer (kayaking) just before my son's wedding and a hemi-laminectomy and discectomy in August. (L3/L4). Apparently I have DDD and the rupture resulted in a severely pinched nerve. Trying to get back to a reasonable level of physical activity, but finding it slow (for me) and quite painful. Good news is that I am med-free 8) and have great family and medical support.

Love outdoor activities and used to do a lot of hiking, snowshoeing, biking and mountain climbing. Interested in Japanese gardening and roses, and the yardwork is something I enjoy. Learning to get creative with ways to get things done without lifting and hoping to snowshoe this winter!
