By smashing good time I smashed my big toe trying to change belt on washing machine. Did not realize how bad a lower extremity wound can be. Had a staff infection in the other leg 7yrs ago and that is still floating around in my body. Currently taking 2 oral antibiotics and 1 topical to fight this and the pain is something else along with extremely sensitive skin even the hair hurts. My PCP put the fear in me if I did not take care of this, lose toe or leg worse case my life. Did this back on the 5th the washing machine belt change out so far belt $15, trip to ER $1200, Meds @ home and other supplies $35, 3 trips to PCP $250. Should have called the Maytag man $120 with parts!

Yes Sir, should have called the guy.
Have you ever seen the show Two & a Half Men, with Charlie Sheen.
Well his brother went on the roof top to fix the cable, and fell off the roof, and he's on crutches, then Charlie, and everyone during the half hour show, would tell him
why didn't you call the guy. lol

Well this is quite serious, though.
Now you take care of that toe, take a break from it all and rest friend, don't forget to drink your water.

Talk to you next time you write in your journal.

Mckenzie one day at the time.
