Hope you are well! Going into surgery for the pancreas so unless i can get a computer to ease the bored and distract me from the pain, i'm gonna be outta commision for a bit. BUT I can't wait to catch up with everything!

Close Chronic Pain
3 years ago I had major abdominal surgery for pain and was mis-diagnosed for Chrons diease. Next surgery, because pain continued they found an area in my small intestine that was "kinked" they also found a ton of scar tissue from the first surgery. The second surgery left me with a raging infection that couldn't be treated with antibiotics and so I was left with an open incision to heal from the inside out. It took three months of daily morphine and wound care only to be left with ARD.
Treatments
- Duragesic Patch Working / Worked
- I have just transitioned from the patch to oral meds. If you are working, don't use the patch. Didn't work!!!!!
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- Working very well.
- Heat Working / Worked
- Works somewhat for extreme cramping. At the least it is warm and comforting.
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Works!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just focusing on healing energy works. I should find more time for it.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- MS-Contin...Don't know yet, just started with treatment.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Percocet along with oxycontin and codeine sulfate really work for me
- Librax Working / Worked
- Works for calming the bowel and cramping
Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
I suffer from ARD Adhension related disease. I am in chronic pain and I have had 3 abdominal surgeries. I have been told to look forward to more surgeries even though more surgeries more adhesions
Treatments
- Probiotics Too Soon to Tell
- Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- you can remove scar tissue this way but you only get more scar tissue
