I keep calling the anesthesiologist department at the hospital where my surgery will hopefully be, just to ask more questions. I think they know my voice now. The best thing in the world they could tell me was: “You do NOT have to have the “memory medicine” that gives you amnesia. That felt great … I actually cried over the phone with joy. She told me I was not the first person to be sooooo scared. She said I could come up there any time and someone would walk me around to try and desensitize myself.
