Well we went in yesterday for our the big 20 week u/s and we found out that its a healthy little bouncing boy!!! We are so excited that it is another boy!! Of course if it was a little girl we couldn't of been happier but just when you have lost that sex you of course yearn for it again. Everything looked great the u/s tech was so wonderful she asked us if we wanted to know the sex right away and we said yes and she said usually I wait till the end but considering what you've been threw lets look right away. And he was not shy at all there it was!!! We asked if they could see the cord insertion to the placenta and she did. (little background) Bryce's cord insertion was off to the side, the cord should be placed in the direct center of the placenta. That was a red flag that I had a blood clotting disorder after I delivered him. Well they found that its inserted directly in the center were it should be. Kind of a sigh of relief. He looks just like Bryce I put the profile pic together when I got home and its like it is his twin!! Also in one of the 3D pics that we brought home I looked at it again and it looks to me like there is another image of a face in the back ground. My husband doesn't see it but I do maybe its Bryce watching over his little brother. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of his funeral.
Bryce's first birthday was an overall good day. We went to visit him and I purchased him a copper angel to hang out by him and balloons that we wrote messages on. My husband and I made cupcakes and took one out to him and it was really windy that day and when my husband went to light the candle the wind completly stopped!! For about a minute and his candle burned for that time!! It was so neat Bryce wanted to see his candle burn. We went to a museum that day and then went out for dinner. We came home and had some friends over that night and it was actually nice to have people over for a change usually I just like to be alone but we enjoyed ourselves. Can't believe its been a whole year already! Now if it would just be March so I can bring home a screaming alive baby boy!!!
Bryce I'm so thankful for the time I got to spend with you and I would never take that away. Please continue to watch over mommy and your little brother my sweet angel boy. We miss you and love you always. Kisses to the sky........

Congrats, that's so exciting you're having another boy, and great news about the cord insertion! Very cool about the wind stopping so the candle could burn, too, and the face in the background of the u/s. Lots of good signs that Bryce is with you and looking after your rainbow baby! Hugs, Ann

Oh yay honey I am so excited for you! I was thrilled to be having a boy again too, as I yearned for Christian to have a little brother. Also, my son's look like twins too and its very cool. I am glad you got through Bryce's birthday, and yes, I want March to get here quickly for you. Any names picked out? ;)

I am so excited for you!! After losing a boy, that's all I can think about is having another boy. I would be happy with a healthy baby, whether it be a girl or a boy. But I really don't want to have to repaint the nursery...it was tough. So yay for you guys! Another Boy!
