I was officially diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 2 1/2 years ago but know that it's been with me for several years longer than that. I was recently diagnosed with osteo and RA. The doctors are attempting to find the "right" medication to help me with these additional illnesses. I've been off-line dealing with family and medical issues for about 4 months. Everything is now getting back on track. Thanks to everyone for keeping me in their thoughts and prayers.

Close Fibromyalgia
Officially diagnosed 2006. Struggle with extreme pain, twitching, spasms, heaviness in limbs, fatigue, insomnia and migraines. In addition, I've recently added Osteo & RA to the list. More bad days than good but still trying to keep a positive attitude.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
- Helps when I can handle the cold walk to and from it - outside on my back deck.
- Duragesic Patch Not Working
- NO WAY - NEVER AGAIN! Caused awful side effects - worst of which was NIGHT TERRORS!!!!
- Heat Working / Worked
- Moist heat helps occassionally
- Lyrica Not Working
- no help and the weight gain was awful not to mention the headaches,etc...
- Morphine Not Working
- The side effects were worst than the pain. Narcotics don't seem to help much at all.
