I am a 32 year old married mother of four beautiful children and I have hydrocephalus. Diagnosed late in life after a head injury although doctors think I may have been born with it. Underwent third ventriculostomy about three months ago with some relief. I also deal with depression and anxiety with bi-polar tendencies.

Close Hydrocephalus
May have been born with aqueductal stenosis but no problems until head injury at age 28. There was a blockage between my third and fourth ventricles. Had an ETV done July 9th, 2008. Have had some relief, but Im still not how I use to be. I also have a cousin who was born with hydro. He has a shunt.
