Close Precocious Puberty

Applying vapor rub on night to my 5 year old daughter I was surprised to feel knots at her breast. Took her to doc. She told me that they were breast buds and checked for other early signs of puberty. She told me to keep my eye for further development of the breasts and for pubic hair, etc. If there is more, she will refer to endocronologist. I found term precocious puberty on my own. I am concerned that there is so much more I need to know about this.
