I have been going through the fibro rollercoster since 1999 when i first started getting these terrible migraine headaches(mind you only on my days off) thepucking be in bed all day kind so i asked my dr to start a full physical on me, result, normal. He started by sending me to have my eyes tested nothing magor there either some near sightedness. that went on for a couple years. Then he sent me to a Nerologist just before my appt. my girlfriend and i wher looking in a mag. and she found this tiny artical, she said "Marcia this is what you have". I read it and didnt let go of that mag until i got into that drs office. I told him this is what i have, i could not even pronounce fibro back then, and he didnt tell i had it either but man dont you know i went from there to the book store and found a book and sure enough i found my own dx. and from then on i help these drs who dont know that much about this disease treat me. Its been a long tough road and its def. not over but i would love to help anyone that is new to this disease, i would have loved the help.
