My husband has been in the hospital since Friday the 4th. I have been there the entire time and just came home for a break today. He went in with his left side numb and they started doing lots of tests. Well they did a spinal tap and that has just about killed him. The initial symptoms of numbness were treated with steroids and they are thinking it was bells palsey which has almost cleared up all together. But...he is having SEVERE complatations from the spinal tap. They tried a caffeine drip twice and a blood patch. He has to have another blood patch tomorrow. I am praying that one works.
