About Me
i am a teacher, a writer and a mother.. i was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease when i was 6 yrs old and unfortunatly it isnt catagorized as any particular one because i have symptoms of pretty much all of them. my main pains are with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and raynauds. i've gone thru a great deal of things.. I strive to help others overcome their illnesses and pains.. i have an odd sense of humor.. & i am not your average cookie cutter christian. i have some odd views on things but i am always willing to listen to your ideas and beliefs. i am very open-minded and love to hear others thoughts on things.

i read alot, it doesnt matter who *L* i like a wide variety. i am a writer, i LOVE movies, i do alot of myspace and facebook, thats usually the only way i get to talk to friends, they all moved. *L* i love nature and the outdoors. and i am always on the look out for ways and ideas to help those in need.

- its generic plaquenil.. i have taken it the past 23 years and it has helped considerably.. and it was safe to take during my pregnancy

- took it for a little over 15 years. it kept things in check

- it has been the number one thing in treating any problem that got too out of hand

I was diagnosed with MCTD when I was 6 yrs old, so needless to say my immunes system has always been bad.. i am now currently in my 3rd round of shingles.. when i have them my skin crawls and burns and my muscles spasm and nerves go crazy.. *sighs* its annoying and painful..

- the absolute best thing they have EVER put me on.. when they took me off the prednisone and the methotrexate they put me on this and i felt better than i had in years.

- it never did me any good.. i wasnt on it very long.. they found something better for me to take
- Medrol Working / Worked
- i only take it when i have short bad spells. but it always makes me right again
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- took it for many years and it did great.. controled everything well.

- taken it for the past 23 years.. has always worked and is one of the best things. it was safe to take during my pregnancy too...
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- took it for over 20 years.. it helped alot

i have been a little sickly all my life.. at the age of 5 yrs, i was diagnosed with ra, at 7 yrs. i was diagnosed with mctd and the ra was apart of it.. i've been in multiple organ failure, had every test imaginable ran on me, yes even a bone marrow sample was taken, i was 7 at that time.. i have also been in congestive heart failure 3 times.. my heart has stopped soo many times i have lost count.. but i am still here.. so i believe the good lord has better intentions for me.

Open Raynaud's Disease
i am 27 yrs old now...i was diagnosed with mctd when i was about 7 yrs old shortly after that, i was diagnosed with raynauds, they say its part of the mctd. i had to have a double sympathectomy to increase my circulation, and the tip of one of my fingers had to be amputated because it couldnt heal. it got dry gangrene. very painful.
