Sounds like you left the doctors feeling a bit confused I must say I find it a bit confusing too. If you are seeing him again in three weeks then that isn't very long to wait to get the answers you want. The only type of Ovarian cancer that you normally don't require chemo for is a 'Granulosa' type tumour.. Is that what they said you had.. or did they suspect a cancer and then discovered from tests, after the op, that it wasn't cancer? I think that in some circumstances if they catch a tumour very early on, stage 1a, that they might hold back on chemo, but often give it anyway as a precaution.. I find it helps to write down questions to ask at these appointments and also to take someone with me as it isn't always easy to take everything in and it's good to have someone to go over what was said with.. I also think you are right, that a month isn't necessarily enough time to recover from such a procedure.. so take it easy until you feel better and at ease with your situation. I noticed you sent me a celebration hug.. so hopefully that means you are happy with the out come.. in which case.. great news.. but your words sound like you are a bit unsure about the way you have been treated.. I'm off to London for the weekend so won't be around for a couple of days.. Hope you have a great weekend.. hugs to you xxx

I had my hysterectomy a month ago and had borderline ovarian cancer. Have not started hormones yet and not sure what my treatment will be if any. I am glad I found this web site

Open Caring For Aging Parents
my mother lost her vision 12 years ago and she came to live with my family. We did everything for her, but made her learn to be independent again. Then, she met a man and got married at 76. She moved out of course, and it was the best two years of our lives. Well, her husband died, so we had to move her back, but this time into an assisted living home. She is still driving me nuts though!
Open Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
Have a strong willed son about to turn 15. We get along just fine, most of the time. Then, I want him to do his homework, take out the trash, help me in some way and that's when the battle begins! I want to scream sometimes. He says horrible things to me, and it always escilates to a bad scene. I am at the end of my rope!

- Psychotherapy Not Working
- they wanted to put him on antidepressants, but I was afraid of that.
