"...accepting the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; having the wisdom to know the difference...."

I had a chain on my CBR600RR Honda sportbike. When I got back from Toronto it had a bunch of kinks in it since it sat for about 7 months. Rain and weather made it rust; so there were kinks in the chain.

You can feel it when you got off the throttle setting the bike up comin in to a corner up at the Crest. Lots of chain slap, and chatter that transmitted to the chassis.

Lube usually helps, and a chain adjustment to take up the slack.

I look at these kinks as the same as what goes on in life.

The kinks are getting worked out at the shop. I have been payin my dues to those I owe. I am always a man to my word.

I am loyal to those who are loyal to me.

My co-workers are understanding of that now, too. I am just a do or die kinda dude.

Communication is open now, just like in any relationship, at work.

Cohesiveness is growing. My closing ratio is higher, and my riding style is changing with my supermoto; its much more controlled. Just like with my recovery.

My worse day sober is better than my best day high.
