I have had migraines since a teen, but they got progressively worse until (1999) when I had what was called transformed migraines. Means I had a migraine 24/7. I had to go on disability retirement because I could not work. I was told of a clinic in Chicago, Diamond Headache Clinic, in Chicago and I have been going there since 1999. It has taken some time and hospital stays and medicine changes but for the last 3? years my headaches have been 50% better. I have to take preventative meds.
I am bad migrainer and have been for a long time. Before I was diagnosed and treatment started I had fibro, grinding my teeth, TMJ, stress, you name it I had it, depression. All really do to the migraines. My headaches are basically undercontrol and my fibro and most of my tmj is under control.
